Alongside all the uses for sensory rice such as pouring scooping mark making, sensory beans also allow for counting and sorting too. The small size makes them perfect for fine motor practice. They're fab for setting up small world play with animals or trucks etc and also perfect for adding to play kitchen utensils for role play. Add some bamboo tongs which are great for strengthening hand mucsles and hand-eye coordination, both of which help with preparing to learn to write! They're also a fab toy for any budding chef!
